Legacy Church ("Legacy Church," "we," "us") operates legacychurchrdu.com and the Legacy Church mobile app. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it's handled.
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and (optionally) a mailing address. If you submit a prayer request or a visitor card, we collect what you choose to share there, including whether you'd like it kept confidential. If you give online, we collect the amount and fund you selected — your card details are processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor, and are never sent to or stored on our own servers. If you use Legacy Connect (in-app messaging and calling), your messages and profile are handled by Stream, our messaging provider, to deliver that feature.
We use this information to operate your account, respond to prayer requests, process giving, communicate with you about events and church life (including by text message, only if you've consented), and keep the app and website secure. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with outside organizations except the service providers above who help us run the app (Stripe for payments, Stream for messaging, and our hosting providers).
You can review and update your name, phone, and address at any time from your Profile page on the app or website. You can mark a prayer request confidential so only staff can see it. You can opt out of text messages at any time. To delete your account or ask what information we have about you, email us at info@legacychurchrdu.com.
Legacy Church's account system is intended for adults and older teens registering on their own behalf. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13 without a parent or guardian's involvement.
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the app or website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
